I was honored to work with Louise and John for their ceremony and reception at two Minneapolis landmarks—The Minneapolis Sculpture Garden and Café Lurcat. The couple was returning from New York to the bride’s childhood home of Minneapolis. She even got ready in her childhood bedroom! (Now that’s a sweet tradition.) But it wasn’t all traditional for this couple’s big day. Fun details such as crowns and mustaches wrapped in English “crackers” set a modern tone of celebration. The bride showcased her spot-on sense of style with an ethereal blue dress and a Vendura ring. Natural flowers softened the scene in bouquets and table arrangements, including fresh raspberries.
My goal in working with this couple was to help create a wedding day where the guests and the bride and groom could relax and celebrate. In the end, it was an event worthy of the venue. I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed working with this beautiful couple.
