
I really enjoy meeting couples for the first time – talking about how they met, the proposal, and their dreams for their wedding. Once we discuss all of those topics, they inevitably want to ask me questions about my skills, service packages, and how our business is run.
In today’s blog, I’m going to answer 3 frequently asked questions.
1. For your service packages, do you charge a flat rate or a percentage of the budget?
At Premier Planning Services, we charge a flat rate for all of our packages. All of our clients receive the same amount of attention and we devote whatever time is needed to help plan and coordinate a couple’s wedding. We also create custom packages based on customer needs.
2. How many weddings do you coordinate on any given weekend?
When you hire a planner at Premier Planning Services, that planner will only have one event per weekend that they manage. We believe that, as a planner, we need to be completely focused on that couple’s needs and expectations for that weekend. After all, that is why you’ve hired us.
3. Do you receive discounts from other wedding vendors?
Because of the nature of our business, we become "repeat" buyers, which is a great reason to work with an event planner! In those instances, the vendor is kind enough to extend a discount to our company. We in turn pass that discount to our clients. We work hard to establish relationships with vendors who we know will offer the best service and quality for our customers. Those vendors are also willing to work with us, when needed, to reduce costs in creative ways.
